Wonderful food and marvelous service in an inviting room.  It is clear that the kitchen and staff know what they are doing.  They provide an evening of dining that displays the love and attention that good ingredients deserve and that people who know and love food appreciate!

I decided on a last minute overnight to Trieste and found a reservation for this place on The Fork. I must say, I found the staff and environment lovely! The appetizer (potato and asparagus flan) was superb and so unique. The bread offered meant I got to eat every last bite. I literally cleaned my plate. My main course was the duck breast with a brandy and orange sauce and while the duck was cooked to my preference, I found it lacking in the seasoning and sauce. I felt like I was searching for orange or brandy which made it all a little bland. As a side, I ordered grilled zucchini and while the grill was good, it was again lacking a bit of seasoning. I added a little olive oil and salt and it was delicious. Finally, not that I needed it, I ordered the molten lava chocolate cake. It was amazing but I had definitely ordered too much food and couldn&rsquo;t finish it all. The wine selection is extensive and the team knew how to pair properly. I enjoyed my meal and would consider another dinner there!

Food was decent but service was disappointing. Long periods where no one was around. Dropped off wine list but never came back to take order until the food arrived 20 minutes later.

The restaurant was very nicely decorated, the vibe was really cozy and most importantly: the food was delicious! We would definitely recommend paying Pep&#39;s fish house a visit😊

They never offered us to order a second course. Never brought us another bottle of wine. Service was SLOW like we were invisible . The food wasn&rsquo;t even worth it. We heard great things and experienced nothing more than an angry, tired staff who didn&rsquo;t want us there and didn&rsquo;t want to be there themselves. Definitely skip it.

It was a wonderful evening, a great place for a perfect dinner for two.  Very friendly service, special dishes and great atmosphere. Thank&#39;s a lot, we will come again.

Chimera di Bacco provided a wonderful end to our Trieste holiday, a relaxing welcoming restaurant, very interesting menu of ever fresh fish and terrific selection of regional and local wines. Recommend their delicate tuna belly, indeed the &#39;bacon of the sea&#39; worth it for this memory alone. Ti ringrazio Chimera di Bacco

Exquisite burrata with anchovy and dentice with vegetables. Lovely service although the restaurant a little empty and thus lacking atmosphere. Delicious wine
